One of the most popular New Year’s resolutions is to lose weight and work out more. Sure, gym memberships and personal trainers are expensive, but don’t use that as an excuse not to reach your goals. Here, fitness instructor and author Zuzka Light shares six of her favorite workout videos that can help you get into shape and stay there. If you’re a beginner: Bunny Slope Workout Series #1
This series is a good place to start for anyone who hasn’t worked out in a while and wants to ease into a daily fitness routine. Just like in skiing, everyone needs to start on the bunny slope to get coordinated and familiar with the basics. This series uses minimal equipment and is set at an easy-to-follow pace. Also, if you’re an advanced athlete who is looking for a great recovery day routine, this would be the perfect addition to your current routine! If you’re feeling too lazy to work out: 5-minute Workout #38—Bikini Abs and Glutes
A lack of time is a poor excuse for not exercising on a daily basis. This simple “lazy” workout can be done on a towel at the beach or on a blanket in the park. It features isolated exercises—you don’t even have to stand up to tone and tighten your abs and butt! Brand new five-minute workouts are added to my YouTube channel every Friday. You can either do one and be done for the day or combine three to four workouts and get a good daily sweat for unbeatable results!
If you don’t have or can’t afford equipment: 15-minute Fat Burn Series Workout #1
This workout features 15 bodyweight-only exercises. This means they require absolutely no equipment, so you can do these exercises anywhere. This workout also uses interval training, so anyone at any fitness level can follow along with me and focus on doing as many reps as they can. With a variety of exercises, this workout targets your entire body while also giving you a great cardio boost for ultimate calorie burn.

ZWOW stands for Zuzka’s Workout of the Week. These workouts are hugely popular on YouTube and have garnered an enormous following since I started doing them almost five years ago. Each video in this series is a time challenge where you to race against the clock and complete the workout as quickly as possible for maximum results. I offer modifications for beginners so that everyone can adjust for their current fitness level. People who do these workouts on a regular basis have seen incredible results!

If you’re looking for a more intense, targeted workout to tone and tighten your glutes, this is the series for you! You’ll see and feel results almost immediately. Plus, you can use heavier dumbbells to make this workout more or less intense based on your current fitness level.

This is another great, intense workout targeting your arms, chest, back, and abs! This series is the ideal next step for avid exercisers looking for new challenges and to break those stubborn plateaus.
