Irish author Kevin Barry’s debut novel City of Bohane has won this year’s international IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, open to all fiction published in English. The €100,000 prize adds to the novel’s list of accolades, including the 2011 Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award and the European Union Prize for Literature. It is also a new win for publisher Graywolf, whose novel Out Stealing Horses by Norwegian Per Petterson took the IMPAC in 2007.
