Alcon Entertainment has acquired film and TV rights to the Chicken Soup for the Soul multichannel brand, and is already working on a film version of the 90s hit inspirational book series. “Our fans and readers trust us as their source for positive and moving stories and they’re hungry for more. It would be a disservice to them not to bring Chicken Soup for the Soul to life in film,” said brand CEO Bill Rouhana. With Love Happens screenwriter Brandon Camp already on board for the script, producers have yet to pick a director and cast.
