In order to be a good author, you’ve got to be a good reader, right? That’s what we’ve always thought anyway. To keep our shelves stocked with must-read recommendations, we scoured social media to discover the books that our favorite writers recommend.
After her fourth rebooked flight, two days without her luggage, and an unexpected delay in New York, it occurred to our heroine that she should maybe stop reading The Odyssey on this trip. pic.twitter.com/PenwQtIS7T

How much do I love @EachStarAWorld‘s CHAINBREAKER? THIS IS HOW MUCH: “an elaborate tale of magic, gods, and the beautiful, unfortunate humans caught in an ancient titanic struggle. You’ll cheer. You’ll cry. And once you enter this world, you’ll never want to leave.”

First release day of the new year! So many good ones that I’ll post about later after I hit the bookstore today. Shoutout to EVERLESS by debut author @SaraHollandwrites. EVERLESS is set in a kingdom where time is money, and the lengths one girl will go through to get more. I’m pumped to have this one on my shelves and you should check it out too ⏳. (P.S: If I could earn more time, I’d use it for more naps.)
New books alert. I did @whole30 in July and I’m a skeptic and I’m not going to give you my whole story, but it was a terrific and I’m grateful to my new friend @melissa_hartwig. If you’re looking to reset your relationship with food, I can’t recommend this enough. No this isn’t a paid endorsement. I adore all of you and if it helped you in some way, that would mean a lot to me.
It’s been a bit of a crap week…so I’m taking a few minutes to dig into a new book… so my #FridayReads / #FridayListen is Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt. A great use of my @audible_com credit. pic.twitter.com/nJweAImd97
