On the first weekend in June, Bookish headed to BookCon to interview authors and snag some sweet swag just for you. Now, we’re giving away these literary goodies to 24 lucky readers!

An Exclusive Bookish Tote
Each winner will receive either: a black tote with our white logo or a white tote with the tagline Be You, Be Bookish.

A Signed Book
We have signed books from Leigh Bardugo and Christina Lauren. We’re giving away five signed samplers of Bardugo’s upcoming The Language of Thorns, and twenty signed copies of Lauren’s Dating You / Hating You.

Surprise BookCon Swag
We spent two days combing the show floor for advanced reading copies, pins, totes, bookmarks, and more! Every winner will find one or two extra BookCon goodies stuffed inside of their Bookish tote.

Bookish is selecting 24 winners overall, and here’s how they break down:

1 Grand Prize Winner
One grand prize winner will receive both signed books, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag.

4 The Language of Thorns Winners
Four winners will each receive a signed copy of Leigh Bardugo’s The Language of Thorns sampler, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag.

19 Dating You / Hating You Winners
Nineteen winners will each receive a signed copy of Christina Lauren’s Dating You / Hating You, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag.

The following are the Official Contest Rules for Bookish’s Post-BookCon Giveaway (the “Contest”). Bookish is a division of NetGalley LLC, 44 Merrimac Street, Newburyport, MA 01950 (“Bookish”).

By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Sweepstakes Rules. No Purchase is necessary.

To enter the Contest, fill out the entry form on the giveaway page. You will automatically be signed up for the Bookish newsletter. If you do not want to receive Bookish’s newsletter, you may opt out at any time.

Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to any person over 17 years of age, who resides in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or a U.S. Military installation in a foreign country, excluding employees and consultants of Bookish and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members. It is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter
Entries must be submitted beginning at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on June 13, 2017, and no later than 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, on June 30, 2017.

You may enter one time per person. You must use the entry form supplied by Bookish. Bookish shall not be responsible for lost or interrupted mail or email, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including, without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online. Entry materials and/or data that have been tampered with or altered are void.

Selection of Winners
Prizes shall be awarded based on a random drawing from among the eligible entries. Bookish shall determine in its sole discretion the method of selecting winners from among the entries and its determination shall be final and binding.

Prizes
One (1) winner shall receive a signed copy of Leigh Bardugo’s The Language of Thorns sampler, a finished signed copy of Christina Lauren’s Dating You / Hating You, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag. Four (4) winners shall each receive a signed copy of Leigh Bardugo’s The Language of Thorns sampler, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag. Nineteen (19) winners shall each receive a finished signed copy of Christina Lauren’s Dating You / Hating You, a Bookish tote, and surprise BookCon swag.

Bookish will send the prize won by the winner to the address indicated by the winner in his/her/their entry. Bookish will mail the prize or use another delivery service as it shall determine. Bookish shall pay all costs of postage and handling.

The suggested retail value of each prize, excluding shipping and handling, is not more than $25. The total value of all prizes to be awarded is not more than $500.

No prize substitutions shall be allowed. Winners are responsible for federal, state and local taxes, if any, on any prizes awarded.

Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by Bookish.

Indemnification
By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bookish, and its employees, representatives, agents and licensees from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable counsel fees and expenses, paid or incurred by reason of your breach or alleged breach of any of the obligations, covenants, representations or terms contained in these Official Rules.

  1. It’s disappointing that so many of your contests are only for U.S. residents. :( What about your lovely, friendly neighbours to the North? *looks hopeful, b/c this is really good swag*

  2. Thanks for the chance to win. I didn’t make it t bookcon this year or the year before that which sucks. This is second best!

  3. My dream (and #17 on my bucket list) is to attend BookCon. Until then, I’d be delighted to tote my books around in either book bag. (Rrrreally like the black tote!) But, ya know…I love anything bookish. Books ARE my bag. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to sample a bit of BookCon. One day, BookCon, we WILL meet in person!!

  4. Ahh I really want to enter just to win the tote bag but I’d hate to win the books and someone who really wants to read them doesn’t get that opportunity because I selfishly enter for a tote bag. Arggh
