Bookish and Proud: Literary LGBT Pride Month Flag

Bookish and Proud: Literary LGBT Pride Month Flag

Here at Bookish, we like to show off our love of books all year long. In the past we’ve created a pumpkin, a heart, and the American flag out of book covers. But for June we wanted to do something a bit more colorful. In honor of Pride Month, a yearly celebration of the LGBT community, we’ve created a rainbow flag. But wait–that isn’t even the best part! Each book used in this collage is either written by an author or features a character who identifies as a member of the LGBT community. Made up of nearly 350 covers, this is more than just a flag; it’s a true celebration of the LGBT community in literature.
