Almost a year after prolific writer Nora Ephron’s death, at age 71 due to complications from leukemia, her son, journalist Jacob Bernstein, has announced he will direct and co-produce an HBO documentary about his mother. Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter will serve as an executive producer. A novelist, playwright, screenwriter, director and producer, Ephron is best known for her romantic comedies, such as Sleepless in Seattle and When Harry Met Sally…, both of which earned Academy Award nominations for Original Screenplay.
