Here at Bookish, we love getting a look at upcoming books. That's why we are so very stoked to bring you the cover reveal for Andrea Cremer's "Snakeroot." Fans of the "Nightshade" series, get psyched--Cremer, who recently wrote the prequels "Rift" and "Rise," is returning to the world of Calla Tor and the other Searchers with a fourth story that takes place post-"Bloodrose." The original "Nightshade" series was published as a trilogy, but this new book opens the door to so many possibilities.

Here's what Cremer has to say about the new book: "'Snakeroot' focuses on Adne's struggles to adjust to the post-Witches War world of the Searchers. She's plagued by disturbing dreams and visions, all of which draw her to the gardens of Rowan Estate. The cover image perfectly depicts the way in which Adne has become entangled by her own turbulent emotions and an encroaching dark magic."
If you haven't picked up the "Nightshade" series, here's what you're missing: Calla Tor is a werewolf who helps protect the mysterious world of the Keepers. She is set to be married to an alpha male Ren, but her world and beliefs are challenged by the presence of a mysterious teenage boy named Shay. Without tons of spoilers, the series manages to make you fall in love, break your heart and fist pump the air in a matter of pages.
Besides presenting the cover, we can tell you that "Snakeroot" will be available this December. Cremer has also partnered with David Levithan on the co-written novel "Invisibility," set to hit shelves this May.
